On this snowy day in the Northeast, I thought I would share some great times from a very short time ago in Daytona, Florida. What a good time attending the Daytona 500. I am not a NASCAR fan but wanted the travel experience. Actor Owen Wilson, the voice of the animated character Lightning McQueen in Disney•Pixar’s upcoming movie “Cars 3,” served as Grand Marshal for the 59th annual DAYTONA 500 on Feb. 26 at Daytona International Speedway. It is a party, a happening, so loud and so thrilling. We all need to open our hearts and minds to new experiences. One day at the opera and the following at a NASCAR event.
