How to read a row The small ruler beside each name puts that stay on a scale from 42 to 48 degrees north, with the office as a square and the 45th parallel as a dashed line. The miles printed next to it are the straight north to south distance between the two latitudes; the road miles under Drive are always longer, because roads bend around lakes and bays.
The figure in the yellow box is the total for a room for two over the listed nights, with any nightly fee the lodging charges every guest already inside. Taxes come on top, and so does the Mackinac Bridge toll for the stays across the Straits.
Somewhere north we skipped Fifteen is what we plan in depth, not every lodging in the state. If you have a town in mind that is not here, choose Suggest one for us on the request form and tell us where; we will say plainly whether we can quote it.
